The 2018 Annual Family Resource  Ballyheigue 10k Road Race (and 5k Charity run / walk) took place on Sunday 15th April 2017. The race will start from the Beach Car Park at 12 noon and follows a gradual uphill route past the grotto before levelling out on Kerryhead giving you a chance to drink in the magnificent views of Tralee Bay stretching from Banna Beach to Brandon Mountain.

Registration for the race will take place on the day in Ballyheigue Community Centre between 10:30 and 11:30 am on the Sunday morning of the race.
For those of you who are not ready for a 10k road race or who just wish to participate and support the Family Resource Centre there will be a 5k walk taking place at the same time. It follows the 10k route for part of the course before taking a short cut and rejoining the main route for the last part of the race. The charity 5km run / walk costs just €5 for Adults, FREE for Children. Donations gladly accepted.

The race is timed and the prize giving will take place at the Family Resource Centre immediately after the race. Soup, sandwiches and refreshements will be available to all participants.
