BALLYHEIGUE JUVENILE BADMINTON: The Club caters for boys & girls from all
parishes aged between 13 to 18 years, every Wednesday 7pm to 8pm in
Ballyheigue Community Centre. New members always welcome.

BADMINTON – Well done to Kevin O’Mahony on reaching the Div-Three Plate
final in the first Championship competition of the year. Also a special
congratulation to Edel Broderick, Kingdom Castleisland club member and now
a Ballyheigue resident, and honorary club member on regaining her Div-One
Ladies singles title in Killarney last Sunday. Club nights continue on
Mondays and Thursdays from 8.30 pm and juveniles [13 to 18 year olds] on
Wednesdays from 7.00pm in the Community Centre.


Meals on Wheels: We can deliver any amount you require straight to your
door on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Collection from the Centre also

PUBLIC MEETING: Following the success of our previous public meeting, we
are hosting 2018’s public meeting on Thursday 8th February a 7:30pm at
Ballyheigue Community Centre. This will be an opportunity for everyone to
engage in conversation about their local community and Community
Centre. Everyone

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 22nd January in
the Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 7-16-25-27. Jackpot was
not won. The €50 winner was Eleanor Browne, C/o Kitty. The €25 winners
were: Charlie Diggins, C/o Christina; Paddy Cantillon, C/o M. O’H and
Marian Harty, C/o Christina. Next week’s Jackpot €8,450.

Ministry in the Church by Bishop (Emeritus) Bill Murphy: Gathering for All
Parish Readers, Eucharistic Ministers and Parish Personnel in the Kerry
Diocese, Thurs. 22nd Feb. 7.00pm-9.30pm.

FIRST-FRIDAY COMMUNION CALLS: to the elderly will take place on Thursday 1st
February and Friday 2nd February beginning at 1.30pm. Please inform
relatives and friends.

FEAST OF ST. BLAISE: Blessing of Throats will take place at the Vigil Mass
next Saturday 3rd February on the Feast Day of St. Blaise.

KERRY HURLERS: Well done to the Kerry Senior hurlers who defeated London in
the National Hurling League at London on Sunday. Final score Kerry 2-30
and London 1-13. Philip Lucid was a member of the Kerry panel. Kerry will
play Carlow on Sunday at Austin Stack’s Park 2.00pm.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
6-12-20-21. The Jackpot of €7,650 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €7,700. The two €50 winners were: Thomas Healy, Dromature and Marie
O’Halloran, Bouleenshere. The €25 winner was: Peter Fitzgerald, Heirhill.
