*Ballyheigue Tidy Towns:* Ballyheigue Tidy Towns would like to thank
everyone that took part in the Parish clean up last Saturday. The County
clean up in conjunction with Killarney Waste Disposal and Kerry County

*Beach Clean Up*: The Beach Clean up will take place again this year on
Good Friday 19th April commencing at 10.30 am. Bags and Gloves will be
available and there will be refreshments afterwards. Everyone is welcome.

*Good Friday Walk:* The Annual Good Friday Walk for Kerry Hospice will take
place on Friday 19th April starting at 11am from the Castle Gate.

*Maurice Collins Memorial Vintage Day*: Maurice Collins Memorial Vintage
Day tractor run Leaving Ardfert Quarry on Saturday 4:30 p.m. The Vintage
Day is Easter Sunday 21st April 2019.

*Coursing Lotto:* The following number were drawn on Monday 8th April in
Ballyheigue and District Coursing Club Lotto The €50 winner was
Martina Long c/o Macs. The €25 were Dan Carroll c/o O Regans Aron and Emily
c/o Kitty and Lilly A. Crowley C/o Christina. Next week’s Jackpot €11600.

*GAA U16:* The Ballyheigue U16 hurlers made long journey to Kenmare to
play Kenmare/Kilgarvan
in Co. League on Thursday evening and came away with a good win. Final
Score Ballyheigue 4-12 to Kenmare/Kilgarvan 3-6

*Intermediate:* The Ballyheigue B were beaten by Abbeydorney B in North
Kerry League on Friday evening. Final Score Ballyheigue B 1-11 to
Abbeydorney B 1-15

*Fixtures:* Co U16 Hurling League Ballyheigue v Ballyduff on this Thursday
evening at John Joe O Suillvan Park 7pm. County U12 Hurling League
Ballyheigue v Kenmare/Kilgarvan Friday evening inn Kenmare 7pm. County U14

*GAA Lotto:* The following numbers were drawn at last Sundays GAA Lotto The Jackpot of €10800 was not won. The Next Jackpot will be

*Ballyheigue Community Centre:* Bingo returning on Thursday 18th April @
8:30 pm.

*Ballyheigue Community Centre*: For a magical evening of Irish music, song
and dance come and join us on Saturday April 20th where Celtic Steps the
Show featuring The O’Neill Sisters will take to the Community Centre stage.
Tickets can be purchased through our Facebook event page, website and from
the Community Centre. Cost: €25 for Adults and €15 for Under 16’s. Doors
open at 7:15pm. Show 8:00pm.

Upcoming events:

4 mile and U’16’s 2k fun runs are being held in conjunction with The
Maurice Collins Vintage Day on Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. Entry on the day at
Ardfert Quarry and registration begins at 9 a.m..

The area final of the Primary Schools Sports is being held on Wednesday,
8th May at 6:00 p.m. in An Fearann Sportsfield. Details will be circulated
to all Primary Schools in the North Kerry area.The County Championships
will be held on Sundays, 5th & 12th May in An Ríocht Track, Castleisland.

Training: Training is being held for juveniles on Wednesday evening in An
Riocht track, Castleisland. A bus will leave Ardfert Medical Centre at 6:45
p.m. Please ensure you wrap up and bring water. Training for u12’s to
Masters are held on Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. for throws and jumps.


Well done to Coach David and Club Secretary Irene Butler who visited
Knockanacree Woods parkrun in Tipperary last Sunday and to the many club
members who ran/walked in both Tralee and Tralee junior parkruns last
weekend. Wishing all our athletes and families a Happy Easter.
