*Coursing Lotto*: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 15th April in
Ballyheigue and District Coursing Club Lotto 220.127.116.11. The Jackpot was
not won. The €50 winner was Lisa McKenna c/o John B. The €25 winner was
Pecker and Maria c/o O Regans, Donal Lynch c/o John B and M.A Reidy. Next

*GAA U16:* The Ballyheigue U16 hurlers had a good win over Ballyduff in the
County League on Thursday evening. Score Ballyheigue 2-20 to Ballyduff
1-10. *U12:* The U12 hurlers were defeated by Kenmare/Kilgarvan on Friday
evening. *U14:* The U14 hurlers Lost by Two points to Causeway in the
County League on Saturday evening. Score Ballyheigue 2-5 to Causeway
Hurling:* The Ballyheigue Minor hurlers received a walkover from Ballyduff
in North Kerry Hurling League on Sunday morning.
*GAA Fixtures*: U14 County Hurling League Ballyheigue vs Abbeydorney on
Saturday evening in Abbeydorney 6pm. County Senior Hurling League
Ballyheigue vs Ballyduff in Ballyduff Saturday evening at 7.15pm. County
U12 Football League Ballyheigue vs Glenbeigh/Glencar at Glenbeigh Sunday

Kevin O Suillvan Hartys Terrace and Jimmy Casey Cliff Road. The €25 winner

*St. Brendan’s A.C*. Well done to the Ballyheigue athletes from our club
who ran in the fun charity runs last Sunday in aid of the Maurice Collins
Vintage Day at Ardfert Quarry and especially to Matthew O’Sullivan and
Kevin Horgan who came 1st and 2nd in the U16 race. Maggie Carlin ran in the
10th Annual Ballybunion Half Marathon last Saturday, while Aaron and Kevin
Horgan were 1st and 7th finishers in the Children’s Fun Run at the same
event where 234 children ran. Parkrun continues to well be well supported
each week, and this week our athletes were in both Tralee and Listowel
Forthcoming Events: The County Championships will be held on the 5th & 12th
May in An Ríocht Track, Castleisland. A full programme of events is now

further information. *Training:* Training continues on Monday evening for
u12’s to Masters for jumps and throws while on Wednesday evenings the
juveniles will train from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Training for adults will also
be held on Thursday evenings. Training for each of the days is held in An
Fearann Sportsfield (behind Ardfert Medical Centre).
*Ballyheigue Active Retirement Group:* The Coffee /Tea morning in the aid
of Alzheimer’s Association will take place in Family Resource Centre on
Wednesday the 1st May 2019 from 11.00am to 1.00pm.
*The Ardfert Harvest Cycle:* will take place on Sunday 28th April 2019 from
10am to 3pm and part of the route is as follows Ballyduff -North Road
Kerryhead Ballyheigue. It be appreciated if Livestock could be kept off the
roads between above times. Thank you.

*Kerry Choral Union: *Kerry Choral Union will host their much-anticipated
Spring Concert at St Brendan’s Church, Tralee on Sunday April 28th at 7.30pm.
The wonderful concert of choral music will be conducted by Sharon Reidy and
is being organised to raise vital funds for cancer support charity,
Recovery Haven Kerry. Tickets for the event are priced at €10 and are
currently on sale from Recovery Haven’s Tralee base at 5 Haig’s Terrace or
from Kerry Choral Union members.
