ASH WEDNESDAY: Please note this Wednesday 10th February is Ash Wednesday –
the beginning of our Lenten Season. We will have Mass at 10am and again at
7.30pm so that as many as possible can attend Church for the giving of

GLENDERRY NATIONAL SCHOOL: The Parents Council would like to thank everyone
who supported their very successful Table Quiz in O’Regan’s Bar on Friday
night last. Thanks also to everyone who donated raffle prizes.

THE BALLYHEIGUE ‘BEARD FEST’ COMMITTEE: will officially present the cheques
to The Kerry-Cork Cancer Health Link Bus, and The Johnny Roche Road to
Recovery Fund, on Saturday 13th February in Kirby’s Bar, Ballyheigue at 8.30
pm. The total raised was €7,868. Thanks to everyone who helped out,
participated, collected and donated money and to all our sponsors and
committee members. Well done on another great ‘Beard Fest’. Everyone
welcome to presentation. Music by Brian – One Way Round.

BALLYHEIGUE GAA JUVENILES: Registration will take place in club rooms on
this Saturday morning 13th from 11am to 12pm and Tuesday the 16th from 7pm
to 8pm. Adults wishing to become a member can also register on these days.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
8-13-14-26. The Jackpot of €2,650 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €2,700. The two €50 winners were: Richard O’Mahony, Clahanebawn and Joe
O’Regan, Tiershanahan. The €25 winner was: Tina O’Sullivan, Marian Park,

COACHING COURSE: A coaching course will be held at Causeway Comprehensive
School this Saturday from 11.00am to 1.00pm. All Club underage Coaches are
asked to attend.

GAA SOCIAL: The Ballyheigue GAA Social will be held on Saturday 27th
February at the White Sands Hotel. Medals will be presented to the
Intermediate and Co. League Division-3 teams. Tickets available from club

CAMOGIE CLUB: Camogie training for girls born 2002 to 2005 in the Astro
Turf Causeway every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm. Cost €2. Bring Hurley and
Helmet if you have them (we will provide them if needed). This is open to
girls from any parish (there is no parish rule in Camogie unlike hurling).
This is a great way to make new friends while learning a new sport.
Parents are very welcome to stay for the hour and watch or help out if they
