PATTERN THRESHER FESTIVAL: At the AGM of the Thresher Group, held in the
White Sands Hotel, last Thursday, the following officers were elected to
implement the programme of activities designed to celebrate our local
traditions during the Pattern weekend.

DEATH: The death occurred of Terry McCabe, Sandhill Road,
Ballyheigue/Nenagh, late of Moneygall, Arrabawn, Co-Op., Nenagh. Reposed
at his residence on Monday 26th February. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 27th
February 2018 with burial afterwards in the Holy Family Cemetery,
Ballyheigue. Sadly missed by his wife Peg, Daughters Triona, Louise,
Valeria and Niamh, Son Terry Jnr., Sister Anne, Brother-in-Law Tom,
Sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

DEATH: Ballyheigue GAA would like to offer its condolences to the family
and friends of John Lyons of Meenogahane, Causeway who has gone to his
eternal reward. “Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.”

GAA MEMBERSHIP: The membership of €50 for senior players is now due. All
players must have their membership paid before they play their first game.

FIXTURES: Co. Senior hurling league Round-1, Ballyheigue v Crotta at
Dromakee St. Patrick’s Day 12 Noon. A big crowd is expected at this game
as it will be the first game to be played in Crotta’s new pitch. Please

ATHLELTICS: The Primary Schools Indoor Games are being held this Wed
evening from 6pm to 8pm in Causeway hall. Entry is free. The events are
sprints, standing long jump, speed bumps and relays. Pupils from 1st to

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
