SENIOR CITIZENS DAY-CARE SOCIAL GROUP: Our Community Centre also runs a
Senior Citizens Social Group every Wednesday at the Community Centre. We
provide a three course meal, bingo and light activities. This social group
is open to everyone.

MINOR: Ballyheigue/Causeway Minor hurlers were defeated by Abbeydorney in
the N.K. League final on Saturday evening, Score Ballyheigue/Causeway 1-12
and Abbeydorney 2-14.

KERRY HURLERS: Best of luck to the Kerry Senior Hurlers who play Carlow in
Carlow in the Joe McDonagh Cup Ballyheigue players- Philip Lucid and

ATHLETICS: Training for juveniles switches to Walnut Grove, Ardfert from
this Wednesday onwards at the earlier time of 6.30 till 8pm. Cost is 2 euro
per athlete and remember to bring your own water please.

The park-runs continue on Saturdays for adults at 9.30 and on Sundays for
juveniles up to U14 at 9.30 pm in the Town Park, Tralee. These are free but
you need to register on the park-run site in advance.

DEATH: The death has occurred of Brendan Flahive, Glenderry Ballyheigue,
Co. Kerry reposed on Tuesday evening 24th April at Hartnett’s Funeral Home.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday and burial afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery,
Ballyheigue. May He Rest in Peace. Sadly missed by his loving family,
brother Ned, sisters Hanna, Maude, and Aine; sister-in-law Bridie,
brother-in-law George; nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces;
relatives and friends.
