LAUNCH of CD and DVD from singer Eddie Lee will take place in Stretford
End, Causeway this Friday 4th March. Amongst the guests on night will be
P. J. Murrihy, award winning “Johny Reidy Band”, and lots of surprise
guests. Compares on the night are Dermot Moriarty and Billy Donegan. Doors
open at 9 o’clock. The new DVD features scenes from all over Kerry
including many local people and scenes from Ballyheigue and Causeway. The
CD and DVD will be on sale on the night.

LENTEN TALKS: Elma Walsh (Mother of Donal) will speak at all Masses in St.
Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue on weekend 12th/13th March on cancer and suicide.

YEAR OF MERCY: We have very committed people who spend time in prayer each
week before the Blessed Sacrament. To mark the Year of Mercy – on next
Saturday 5th March at 9.00am until Sunday 6th March at 9.30am, we are being
joined by Parishioners from Abbeydorney/Kilflynn, Causeway/Ballyduff and
Ardfert/Kilmoyley who will spend an hour in prayer in our Church.
Confessions will also be available by the Priests of the area. We appeal to
our own Parishioners to give an hour also that weekend, so that the all
encompassing Mercy of God will embrace all of us.

RECOVERY HAVEN: (Cancer Support House) will host a talk on the treatment
and management of lymph-oedema. The talk by Mary Hickey and Anne Marie
Lang (Physiotherapists) will be held in Recovery Haven, Tralee, on Thursday

DAFFODIL DAY BLOOMS IN BALLYHEIGUE: Please support our coffee morning for
Daffodil Day at Kerryhead/Ballyheigue Family Resource Centre on Friday 11th
March from 9am-1pm. Complimentary tea, coffee and home baked treats
available. We will be selling a range of Daffodil Day merchandise and our
raffle has fantastic spot prizes. Please support this wonderful cause.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday night’s GAA
Lotto: 13-16-17-26. The Jackpot of €2,800 was not won. Next week’s

GAA SOCIAL: The Ballyheigue GAA Club held their most enjoyable and
successful Social on Saturday night at the White Sands Hotel. Medals were
presented to the Intermediate, County League and North Kerry Minor hurling
teams. Presentations were also made to Philip Lucid, a member of the
successful Kerry Senior Hurling team, and to Michael Leane and Brian
O’Riordan who were part of the Kerry Minor Hurling all- Ireland winning
team. Danny Casey was presented with the Player of the Year Award for the
second year in a row. A special Award was presented to the Leen Family for
outstanding service the late Willie Leen gave to the Ballyheigue GAA Club.
The Award was accepted on behalf of the family by his daughters Sinead and
