GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA LOTTO
12-14-16-18. The Jackpot of €9,650 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be
€9,700. The two €50 winners were Kitty O’ Halloran, Ballinclemessig and
Bridget O’Grady, Causeway. The €25 winner was Joan Hussey Marian Park.
RACES: The A.G.M of the Ballyheigue Races will take place on Friday 9th
Nov at the K.L lounge
9-30pm. This year 2018 is the 50th Anniversary of Ballyheigue Races and to
mark the occasion the committee will hold a two-day Race Meeting on
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th December 2018.
CARD DRIVE: A 41-card drive for valuable Hampers. All proceeds benefit
the Cystic Fibrosis and Recovery Haven Foundation on Tuesday 13th Nov 9-pm

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 29th Oct in the
Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 9-13-22-27. The Jackpot was not
won. The €50 winner Mary Dempsey C/o Kirby’s. The €25 winners were Tony
Bowle,r C/o White Sands and Pecker and Maria, C/o Regan’s and Catherine
Guerin, C/o White Sands. Next week’s Jackpot is €10,450.
DEATH: The death has taken place of Kathleen O’Regan (née Cahill),
Ballinclemessig, Ballyheigue. Dearly loved Mother of Larry and Willie Joe,
Daughter-in-law Catriona, Grandchildren Leanne, Conor, Ciara, and Niall.
May She Rest in Peace. Reposing at her home on Tuesday 30th October.

Community Players is back by popular demand for one extra show in the
Community Centre on Sunday night Nov 18th, 8 00pm. Doors open 7-30pm.
Tickets: €10 available at Ballyheigue Community Centre and at the door on
the night. The Ballyheigue Community Players would also like to take this
opportunity to thank most sincerely those who encouraged and supported them
last weekend and always.
ST. BRENDAN’S ATHLETIC CLUB: Our juveniles enjoyed the 100th Tralee junior
park-run last Sunday morning in Tralee Town Park. Training continues on
Wednesday evening in Ardfert Community Centre from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
for children born in the years 2008 to 2011. For the older athletes born
in the years 2007 to 2001 training is also held on Wednesday evening from
6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in The Sportsfield (Ardfert GAA). Cost for all ages
is €2.00 and please bring a bottle of water with you. Adult Strength and
Conditioning Training is held every Tuesday evening from 8 p.m. to 9:15
p.m. in Ardfert Community Centre. Cost is €3.00. The club are now
accepting new members for both juveniles and adults. Weekly training runs
with our Fit 4 Life group are also arranged during the week. Entries are
now being taken for the Munster Inter Club Juvenile Relay Cross Country
Championships on Sunday, 18th November in Clarecastle, Co Clare. Wishing
Ben O’Connor and Matthew O’Sullivan the best of luck as they compete in the
Munster Juvenile Uneven Age Cross Country in Two Mile Borris, Co. Tipperary
*SATURDAY 10TH NOVEMBER, NATIONAL DIALOGUE ON CLIMATE ACTION, 11-4PM at
ROSE HOTEL, TRALEE*
This event will take place in the Rose Hotel, Tralee, Co. Kerry. It is a
free, ticketed event and is aimed at citizens of the South-Western seaboard
counties – Kerry, Cork, Clare and Limerick. Please feel free to share with
groups in these other counties!

experience when they cut out plastic for a month and she will discuss her
top tips for shopping and living plastic-free (FREE EVENT – supported by
Kerry County Council).
