“The Year of The Hiker” play by John B. Keane in association with
Ballyheigue Community Players is back by popular demand for one more show
in the Community Centre on Sunday night November 18th, 8.00pm. Doors open:
7.30pm, Tickets: €10 available at Ballyheigue Community Centre and at the
door on the night. The Ballyheigue Community Players would also like to

GLENDERRY N.S. will present The Late Late Toys Show in Ballyheigue
Community Centre on Wednesday 28th November at 7.00pm in association with
Joe Burkett School of Dance, Ann O’Mahony, and Brendan Fuller (Radio
Kerry). It will be an evening of music, dance and chat and an opportunity
to look at some of the children’s favourite toys. There will be lots of
spot prizes to be won and refreshments will be available. All most

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA LOTTO:
6-13-16-30: The Jackpot of €9,700 was not won: Next week’s Jackpot will be

UNDER 16: The Ballyheigue under-16 hurlers were defeated by Ballyduff in
the North Kerry Championship final at John Mitchell’s Pitch on Sunday.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 5th Nov in the
Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto 25-26-27-30. Jackpot was not

CAUSEWAY CAMOGIE NEWS: The AGM of Causeway Camogie Club will be held on
Friday 23rd of November at 8.30pm in the club rooms Causeway. All parents
& interested parties are asked to attend to ensure the success of the club
into 2019 & beyond.

NA LEANAI CHILDCARE CENTRE: Our annual Table Quiz will be held in Harty’s

St. Brendan’s A.C Congratulations to Ben O’Connor who came 6th in the u9’s
Munster Cross Country Championship in Two Mile Borris, Co. Tipperary last
Sunday. Matthew O’Sullivan, ran in the u’11’s event, and while outside the
medals, ran a very strong race. This weekend sees the turn of the Munster
Inter Club Juvenile Cross Country Relays in Clarecastle, Co. Clare and we
wish our u12 Relay Team all the best for it-Training continues every
Tuesday for adults from 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. in Ardfert Community Centre,
while our younger juveniles (u’8 to u’11) train on Wednesday evening from
6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Our older athletes (u’12 and older) train in The
Sportsfield (Ardfert GAA) from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.. For further details

DEATH: The Death has occurred of John (Seán) Kelly, Ballyheigue, Peacefully
on 3rd Nov 2018. Dear son of the Late Patrick and Mary and cherished
brother of Mary O’Gara (Wexford), Geraldine Colleran (Scarriff), Joan
Barry (Celbridge) and the Late Fr. Paud and Grace Morris. Sadly missed by
his loving family, brothers-in-law Jim & Michael, nephews, nieces,
grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives and many friends. May his gentle
soul rest in peace. Reposing on Sunday from 3 to 5.30pm at the Gleasure
Funeral Home, Tralee. Reposing at his residence in Ballyheigue on Monday
from 5 pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St Mary’s
Church, Ballyheigue. Interment afterwards in the Holy Family Cemetery,
Ballyheigue. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Pallative
Care Unit, U.H.K., care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.
