GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sundays GAA LOTTO:
8-21-22-30. The Jackpot of €9,850 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be
€9,900. The two €50 winners were John O’Sullivan, Lady’s Well and Kieran
O’Mahony, Clahanebawn. The €25 winner was Thomas Healy, Dromature.

FIXTURES: Munster Junior hurling Championship, Ballyheigue v Inagh,
Kilnanmona (Clare). The game will be played at Raheenagh, Limerick 1pm.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 26th Nov in the
Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 3-6-7-11, Jackpot was not
won. The €50 winner was Colm Evans, C/o White Sands. The €25 winners were
Rose Barrett, C/o Christina, Adrian Griffin C/o Macs and Garry Kenny, C/o
Macs. Jackpot next week €10,650.

ST. BRENDAN’S AC: had a number of athletes involved in park-runs last
weekend. In Listowel, Alex O’Carroll from Ballyduff had an excellent run on
Saturday in a pb of 21-29. In Tralee, there were 10 St Brendan’s athletes
in action on Saturday with Pádraig O’Regan and Gerald Carroll leading the
club home with times of 20-16 and 20-38 respectively. There were 18 of the
club’s young athletes in action on Sunday in Tralee for the 2nd birthday of
the junior parkrun and again great performances were recorded. Jessica Leen
was presented with her wristband for completing 21 junior parkruns.
Meanshile, the Walshe family of Zach, Ruairi and Conor participated in the
Shelbourne junior parkrun in Limerick and Zach was the first finisher.

Training for juveniles continues on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 to 8pm for
U8 to U11 in Ardfert Community Centre. Training for U12s upwards is on
Wednesdays also but in Ardfert sportsfield from 6.45 to 7.45pm.

BADMINTON: Ballyheigue Badminton Club had lots of members competing in
County competitions in the last few weeks. The November Handicaps saw Josie
Gilbert and partner win the div 4 mixed against Kevin O’Mahony and partner
21 – 19 in the third set. The following weekend we had Adrian Kenny win
div. 5 plate and John McDonnell runner up in div. 4 plate.

Our juveniles were also in action in Killarney where Sean Flahive and
Muiris Harty bought home gold medals in the under 11 and 15 respectively.
Also Aishling Harty and Oisin O’Regan received silver medals in their
respective grades.

Last weekend was the Knockout Cups team event for all grades. Again our
Ballyheigue team was to the fore in winning the div 4 with Listowel as
runners up. Team was Colm Griffin, Colum Carroll, John McDonnell, Kevin
O’Mahony, Kathleen Gilbride, Josie Gilbert and guest player Susanne

We have four different league teams competing in the Co. Leagues at the
moment – all doing well.

Club nights continue Mondays and Thursdays from 8.30 and juveniles [12 to
18] on Wednesdays at 7pm. New members welcome.

Sands Hotel on Sunday 16th December at 2pm. All welcome.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL BINGO IN BALLYHEIGUE: Come along on Thursday 6th December
to the Community Centre at 8.30pm. Lots of prizes! And everyone welcome.

THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: will take place in the Community Centre on
9th December, with ‘SANTA’ arriving at 6.00pm, so be on time to meet him.

FIRST-FRIDAY COMMUNION CALLS to the elderly will take place on Thursday 6th
December and Friday 7th December beginning at 1.30pm. Please inform
relatives and friends.

Please note next Saturday 8th December is the Feast Day of the Immaculate
Conception and is a Holyday of Obligation. Vigil Mass Friday at 8.00pm and
on Saturday morning at 10.00am.

ST. VINCENT de PAUL: The local conference will hold the Annual Appeal
Church Gate Collection at all masses this week-end Sat.8th and Sun. 9th
December. This collection enables us to help those in our community who
need assistance by way of food, fuel, bills, education etc. throughout the
year. Your generosity will also make a real difference to local families
in need this Christmas.

ANAM CARA KERRY: IS holding a Parent Evening on Tuesday 11th December at
7.20pm in Recovery Have, 5 Haig’s Terrace, Killerish, Tralee. This event
is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child
died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent
or not.

ENABLE IRELAND (Kerry Services): would like to thank parishioners for
supporting our recent Church Gate collection. The total raised was
€135.11. This money will be used to support our services in Kerry. Many
