A.G.M: The A.G.M of Ballyheigue GAA Club will be held this Friday evening
at the Club Room at 8pm all welcome.

HURLING JUVENILE SOCIAL: The Ballyheigue GAA Juvenile social will take
place at the White Sands Hotel on Sunday 13th January at 4pm. All under age
players are asked to attend. Parents are also welcome.

KERRY HURLERS: The Kerry Senior Hurlers were defeated by Tipperary at
Nenagh on Saturday in the Munster League, Michael Leane came on as a second
half sub and played well.

DEATH: The death has occurred of Dolores (Della) Nolan (née O’Shea),
Lioscarrig, Caherslee, Tralee and formerly of Ballyheigue on 27th
December 2018. Beloved wife of Brendan and Mother of Stella, Michael
(Pat), Edel and Hugh. Sadly missed by her loving family. Grandchildren:
Rachel, Sophie, Rory, Ciaran and Ben. Sisters Connie and Helen. Nephew,
Nieces, Relatives and friends. Requiem Mass on Monday at Our Lady and St
Brendan’s Church. Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery.

KERRY CAMOGIE: Kerry Camogie are having a big night on Saturday 26th
January in Ballyroe Heights Hotel with a show called “Stars in their
Eyes”. Under the guidance of the great Cassie Leen there are 10 Acts
rehearsing hard at the moment and will show their brilliant showmanship on
the stage on 26th January. Each act will impersonate a famous Star while
also bringing their own talent to the act. So looking forward to an event
with a difference. Launch will take place in The Forge this Thursday night
so all participants will be revealed. All updates on our Facebook page.

ST BRENDAN’S AC NOTES: Juvenile training for St Brendan’s AC starts this
Wednesday evening at 6.30 in Ardfert Community Centre. The session will
conclude at 8pm for U8 to U11. Training for U12s upwards is in Ardfert
sportsfield from 6.45 to 7.45pm.

Fitness sessions for adults will continue on Tuesdays at 8pm in Ardfert
Community Centre and everyone is welcome to join in these sessions which
are ideal for beginners as well as advanced levels. Ursula Barrett is
delivering this programme.

Schools are reminded that the St Brendan’s AC area primary schools indoor
sports will be held on Wednesday, January 30th at 6pm in Causeway hall.

Athletes from the club took part in a variety of events in a variety of
areas last week including the annual New Year ’s Day road race in Beaufort,
the Kerry Hospice fundraiser in Tralee and two Tralee adult parkruns in a
week. A special mention goes to Conor O’Sullivan and Ben O’Connor who
achieved Ultra Marathon status for completing 50 junior park runs and Alex
O’Carroll who got his Half Marathon wristband for completing 11 junior
