GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sundays GAA lotto
3-10-22-23. The Jackpot of €10,150 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be
€10,200. The two €50 winners were: Margaret O’ Sullivan, Bouleenshere and

BALLYHEIGUE GAA A.G.M: The A.G.M. of the Ballyheigue GAA Club was held in
the club room on Friday night last . Secretary Mike Mulvhill gave a
detailed account on the activities of the club during the year. Tracy
Quill presented an excellent Financial Report. Chairman Jer Slattery
thanked all the players, trainers, ticket sellers, fellow officers, and
everybody who helped in any way in the running of the club. The following

COMMUNITY GAMES 2019: Draughts training for U10 to U17 begins in
Bouleenshere School 7-8pm on Tuesday for anyone who may be interested in

Christmas period. Your support will be a great help to facilitate

ST BRENDAN’S AC: The updated training times for St Brendan’s AC are as
follows: Tuesdays – 7pm-8pm, U12-U18 strength and conditioning, Ardfert
Community Centre; Tuesdays – 8pm-9pm, fitness sessions for adults, Ardfert
Community Centre; Wednesdays – 6.30-8pm, training for all juveniles,
Ardfert Community Centre; Thursdays – 7.05pm, speed sessions, the Marina,

CAMOGIE NEWS: U14 camogie training starts back on Wednesday 16th & Friday
18th of January from 6 to 7pm in the astro turf Causeway. €2 please. This
is open to all girls born 2005 & 2006 from Causeway, Ballyheigue,
Ballyduff, Abbeydorney, Kilflynn & Lixnaw. No parish rule in camogie, gear
provided if needed. Everyone welcome to come along and give it a go.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 7th Jan in the
Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto 1-5-13-27. Jackpot was not won.
The €50 winner was James Lawlor, C/o White Sands. The €25 winners were
Donal Carrick, C/o Pat, Elenor Browne C/o Kitty and Anthony Carroll, C/o
White Sands. Next week’s Jackpot is €10,950.

BADMINTON: Our division 4 men’s team made it two wins in a row in the
final of the men’s league when they overcame Listowel in a very close
encounter in the Sports Complex Tralee on Wednesday night last. The final
score of 8 sets to 7 shows just how close it was. Team was John McDonnell,
[undefeated on the night] Kevin O Mahony, Colum Carroll, Mike Lucid and
Maurice Lawlor.

We were well represented at the Annual Listowel Tournament last weekend but
the top prizes eluded us. The closest we came was in Division 5 where young
Aidan Reidy won the men’s final with Paraic Murray from Causeway but lost
out the mixed final.

Everything is now in place for our own Annual Tournament which takes place
this Sunday.20th in the Community Centre starting at 11.45 for division 5’s.
