DEATH: The death occurred following a tragic accident of Aiden Kennelly,
Heirhill, Ballyheigue. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Hartnett’s
Funeral Home on Wednesday 18th May 2016. Following Requiem Mass on
Thursday 19th May in St. Mary’s Church burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery,
Ballyheigue. Sadly missed by his loving family – mother Nora, father
Michael, sister Irene, brother Declan, aunts Mary and Vera, uncles Sonny
and Eugene, nephew Conor, cousins and a large circle of friends.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Next Sunday is Corpus Christi and the annual procession
will take place after 11o’clock Mass from Our Lady’s Well to the Community
Centre for Benediction. First Holy Communion children will have pride of
place in this public manifestation of our devotion to the Eucharist. We
hope for the usual large crowd to march with the Lord and that people
prepare their homes along the way.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:

They will now play Abbeydorney or Kenmare/Kilgarvan in the Co. League Div.

on Saturday evening. Score Ballyheigue 0-10 and Abbeydorney 1-17.

KERRY HURLERS: The Kerry senior hurlers are out of the Leinster
Championship when they were defeated by Offaly on Sunday – score Kerry
0-20 and Offaly 3-19. Philip Lucid was a member of the team.

CO. CHAMPIONSHIIP DRAW: The draw for the Garvey’s Co. Senior hurling
Championship was made on Saturday on Radio Kerry: Ballyheigue v St.
Brendan’s, Lixnaw v Causeway, Ballyduff v Kilmoyley, Abbeydorney v Crotta.
The games will be played on the week-end of June 24th.
