GLENDAHALAN Mass: The Annual Mass at Tobar na Súl, Glendahalan takes place
at 8.00pm this coming Friday 3rd June. We hope that all Parishioners will
support this ancient Holy Place.

CAMOGIE: Cillard Camogie Feile fundraisers next weekend Coffee Morning and
Bake Sale on Sunday 5th June at An Tochar Kilmoyley after 10 am Mass. Any

per week. The Cillard Blitz & League for the U-12/10/8 group is now taking
place on the 11th June at 10 am in Kilmoyley. U-14 Feile Skills Competition
takes place on Monday at 6pm in Abbeydorney

KERRY CAMOGIE: The Poc Fada will take place on Sunday June 5th on Kerry Head
Mountain at 1 o’clock. All welcome: Seniors and U-16s. Please note date of
Monday 27th June at 6pm in Thurles Racecourse, the provisional date for
Munster Puc Fada.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
13-14-25-28. The Jackpot of €3,450 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €3,500. The two €50 winners were: Bernie Colgan, Buncurrig and Kit

PUC FADA: The Puc Fada Competition for Senior, under 16s and Camogie
will be held at Kerryhead Mountain on Sunday 1 pm.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 23rd May in the
Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 9-10-29-30. Jackpot was not
won. The €50 winner was John O’Hara, C/o Christina. The €25 winners were:
Stacey Dineen Higgins, C/o Sean. Geraldine Harris, C/o Kitty and Mike

DEATH: The death occurred of Shane Lawlor, Ballinclemesig. Reposing at his
home on Saturday 28th May 2016. Removal was on Sunday 29th May from his
home to St. Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue for Requiem Mass followed by burial
afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballyheigue. R.I.P. Deeply regretted by
his heart-broken parents Maurice and Anne; sister Elaine, brothers Darren
and Damien; sister-in-law Kay, aunts Martha Casey, (Ballyduff), Noreen
Griffin and Margaret O’Sullivan; uncles Leo, John, Garry, Seamus, (USA);
Chris and James Walsh, niece Megan; cousins, relatives and many friends.

Shane loved the game of hurling. He played under-age hurling with
Ballyheigue. He also wore the County Jersey when he played with the Kerry
Under-14 team. The Ballyheigue GAA Club and his team mates and many
friends formed a Guard of Honour at his removal and burial.
