CLERICAL CHANGES IN KERRY: Bishop Ray Browne, Bishop of Kerry has
announced the following changes of appointment of clergy in the Diocese of
Kerry: Following the transfer of our PP Father Tom Leane, the Parish of
Ballyheigue will be served by the priests of the Naomh Bhréanainn Pastoral
Area, with Father Liam Comer as Moderator. Father Tom Leane will now be PP
of Dromtarriffe. These changes will become effective from Wednesday 20th
July. The Parish and the people of Ballyheigue wish FrLeane the very best
in his new parish.

PRESENTATION TO FR THOMAS LEANE: The people of Ballyheigue will make a
Presentation to Fr. Thomas Leane in appreciation of his tremendous service
to the Parish in the nine years he was here among us. We are asking the
Area Representatives to help on this special occasion by collecting their
bunch of envelopes and lists from the Baptistery after all Masses next
weekend 30th/31st July for distribution to all households of the parish
during the week. Envelopes should be dropped into the baskets with the
Offertory collection on 6th/ 7th August at all Masses or alternatively to
the Post Office. There will also be envelopes available at the end of the
Church. Details and date of Presentation at a later date.

PARISH OFFICE: The Parish office, located in the Presbytery will be open
on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9.30am – 1.00pm. All bookings for
Masses, Weddings, Christenings etc. to go through Parish Office. Bookings
can be made by calling to the Presbytery or telephone (066) 7133110 during
the above hours.

5th August (9:30am – 12pm) for 9 – 13 year olds. Learn to build Android
apps. such as games, quiz’s, SMS apps and more. Bring your own laptop and
if you’ve got an Android tablet, bring that also to download your apps.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
6-9-16-23. The Jackpot of €3,800 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be

UNDER-16: The Ballyheigue Under-16 hurlers defeated Lixnaw in the Co.
Plate semi-final. Full time score: Ballyheigue 5-12 and Lixnaw 3-7. They
will play Crotta in the Final. Venue and date to be confirmed.

RYAN SHERIDAN TO PLAY IN KILFLYNN: Platinum selling Irish artist
songwriter and guitarist from County Monaghan Ryan Sheridan will headline
the first ever live concert event in Kilflynn Village on Saturday 6th
August. Kerry bands Q14 and Chapter 2 will also perform on the evening at
Enchanted Lands. It is a fundraiser event in aid of O’Neill’s Crotta
Hurling club to develop a sand based pitch. Tickets are only €20 each and
are available at Kilflynn Post office, Herbert’s Bar and shop, Kilflynn,
Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn, Brendan Mahony’s Butcher Shop, Listowel also at
John Griffin’s Butcher in Tralee.You can also purchase your tickets at The
Enchanted Lands Music Festival Office, in Kilflynn Village, open Friday,
Saturday and Sunday 12 noon to 8.00pm and at B-Mobile Shop in Dominick
Street or from the official Ticket master ie site. An event not to be
missed. All support will be greatly appreciated.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 18th July in
the Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 10-13-19-29. Jackpot was
not won. The €50 winner was Stephen Flaherty. The €25 winners were: Denise
