ONE NIGHT FOR TRISH: A benefit dance is being held in The White Sands
Hotel, Ballyheigue on Friday 3rd March at 8.00pm in honour of the late
Trish Flavin (née Guerin). Tickets will be on sale in all local villages
at a cost of €10 each. All proceeds will go directly to support and
benefit Trish’s husband Ray and their five children. Your support is

COMMUNITY GAMES 2017: Ballyheigue Community Games wish to thank everybody
who supported our Table Quiz recently. We had a very enjoyable night. As we
commence our New Year 2017 we will have a very busy few weeks ahead of us.
Draughts training for anyone interested will continue in Bouleenshere
school on Monday at 3-4 and Tuesday 4-5pm.

SAMARATINS: are recruiting new volunteers shortly. Information meetings on
Saturday 4th February at 12 noon, Sunday 5th February at 3.00pm and Monday
6th February at 7.30pm, at 43/44 Moyderwell, Tralee. Enquiries to

non-judgmental for people who may be in distress, despairing or suicidal by
being available twenty hours a day to listen to their callers. Samaritans

the Ballyheigue & District Coursing club Lotto: 13-16-24-29. Jackpot was

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers wee drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
1-17-27-29. The Jackpot of €5,100 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €5,150. The two €50 winners were: John Flahive, Tiduff and Michael
Corridan, Keel. The €25 winner was: Brendan Harty, Cliff Road, Ballyheigue.

MEDAL PRESENTATION: The Ballyheigue GAA Juvenile Medal presentation was
held at the White Sands Hotel on Saturday evening. A very large gathering
of players and parents attended. The special invited guest was Kerry
Football Star – Killian Young who presented the medals. Many thanks to
Jimmy Brown and Staff for the lovely food and Brendan Dunne’s Disco

KERRY HURLERS: The Kerry senior hurlers were defeated by Waterford in the
Munster League at Dungarvan on Saturday. Final score – Kerry 0-15 and
Waterford 4-21. Philip Lucid was a member of the team.
