DEATH: The death occurred of Peadar O’Sullivan, Lucan, Co. Dublin and
formerly of “Réalt na Mara”, Ballyheigue. Deeply regretted by his wife
Athea, son Cian, brother Muiris, sisters Mary, Ann and Sheila and Cians
mother Ann Berkery, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand
nephew, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposed at his home on Wednesday 19th July with Removal to St. Mary’s
Church, Lucan on Thursday 20th July for Requiem Mass and burial afterwards
in Esker Cemetery, Lucan. Ar dheis Dé go raíbh a anam.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
16-22-25-26. The Jackpot of €6,350 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €6,400. The two €50 winners were: Liam Hussey, Marian Park and Micheal
Pierce, Ballylongane. The €25 winner was Thomas Cantillon, Glendahalan.

UNDER 16s: The Ballyheigue U-15 hurlers drew with south Kerry in the Co.
Championship semi-final at Dr. Crokes Pitch on Friday evening. This game
was played under a downpour and should not have gone ahead. Players’
safety must come first. The replay will be played in Ballyheigue. Date to
be confirmed. Final score Ballyheigue 4-6 and South Kerry 1-15.

UNDER 12 BLITZ: The Ballyheigue U-12 hurlers took part in the North Kerry
Blitz on Saturday. They had wins over Causeway, Lixnaw and Tralee Parnells
and lost to Kilmoyley and were runners-up in the Blitz. Co-ordinator was
Patrick Corridon.

UNDER 13s: The Ballyheigue U-13 hurlers lost to Ballyduff in the final of
the Eddie Hayes ground hurling tournament hosted by the Crotta O’Neills
Club at Abbeydorney on July 15th.

GAA COLLECTION: Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the Ballyheigue
church gate collection last week-end.

FIXTURES: North Kerry Under-14s Championship, Ballyheigue v St Brendan’s at
Ardfert Friday evening 6.30pm.
