ST. JOSEPH’S N.S. BOULEENSHERE: St. Joseph’s N.S. would like to thank
everyone who supported our annual Quiz night in Flahive’s Bar last Friday
night. The Parent’s Council organised another hugely successful evening
which everyone enjoyed. Despite the inclement weather we had a full house
for our fundraising quiz.

M. C. on the night, Kevin Fay, ensured all went smoothly and we want to
thank him for making sure that everyone enjoyed the event. Thanks to Breda
Cronin who set the questions and had a tie breaker round at the ready to
separate the teams at the end. We would like to thank most sincerely all
the people who gave spot prizes for our raffle. There were over 20 spot
prizes given out on the night which ensured that most tables went home with

Congratulations to the winning team of Marie O’Mahony, Trish O’Brien,
Richard O’Mahony and Mikey O’Halloran who claimed the €100 Table Prize most
kindly donated by Patrick Flahive.

Events like this ensure that The Parents’ Council can subsidise outings and
swimming classes for every child in our school. Míle Buiochas.

PARISH MISSION: A special thank you to all the people from near and far
who came to Our Mission last week-end. A big thank you also to the many
Parish groups who helped to make it such a special occasion for all of us.
A donation on behalf of our Parish was presented to the Friars and they
have promised to keep us in their prayers.

DECEASED OF PAST YEAR: On Friday 17th November at the 7.30pm Mass we will
prayerfully remember all those who have died during the past year.
Relatives are asked to collect a candle from members of the Liturgy Group
at the front door on their way in. At the start of Mass the Priest will
ask them to bring the candle to the Alter where it will be lit in
remembrance of their loved one.

If would like to remember others who died since last November outside of
the Parish, please hand in their names during the week to the Parish
office. Please note also there is a letter box on the front door of the
Presbytery for your convenience.
