DEATH: The death occurred on 25th October 2017 of John Cantillon, St.
Patrick’s, Upton, Lota and Ballyheigue beloved son of Paddy and Mary
Cantillon. Sadly missed by his parents, sisters Bridie Anne and Mary,
brother Larry and residents at St. Patrick’s, Lota, relatives and friends.
Prayer service on Thursday evening in Lota Church. Funeral Mass in St.
Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue on Friday. Burial afterwards in the adjoining
cemetery, Ballyheigue.

FIRST FRIDAY COMMUNION CALLS to the elderly will take place on Thursday 2nd
November and Friday 3rd November beginning at 1.30pm. Please inform
relatives and friends.

CHARITY NIGHT: Anne Dillane and Mona O’Riordan will hand over the proceeds
of the sale of their CD Blue Moons and Roses (€11,000) to the two
charities: The Kerry/Cork Health Link Bus & Pieta House (each receiving
(€5,500) in O’Regan’s Lounge, Ballyheigue on Friday night, 3rd November
9.00pm. Music: The Premier Blue Boys. A raffle will also take place. All

DECEASED OF PAST YEAR: On Friday 17th November at the 7.30pm Mass in St.
Mary’s Church we will prayerfully remember all those who have died during
the past year. Relatives are asked to collect a candle from members of the
Liturgy Group at the front door on their way in. At the start of Mass the
Priest will ask them to bring the candle to the altar where it will be lit
in remembrance of their loved one. If you would like to remember others
who died since last November outside of the Parish, please hand in their
names during the week to the Parish office. Please note also there is a
letter box on the front door of the Presbytery for your convenience.

After a very successful ‘Zumba Dance Fitness’ Class on Tuesday the 24th October
Natalie will take a break for the Mid-term and return on Tuesday the 7th
November @ 9.30am, and Friday 10th November @ 7pm and will run for 6 weeks
until 15thDecember. Not a class to be missed.

the Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 5-10-17-27. Jackpot was

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:

UNDER 15s: The Tom Healy Under-15 hurling tournament continues this Friday
evening. Ballyheigue will play St. Brendan’s in the group section at
7.00pm. The semi-final and Final will also be played on Friday evening.
All games will be played at Abbeydorney.

BALLYHEIGUE PLOUGHING MATCH: Ballyheigue’s ploughing match takes place
next Sunday 5th November at the Rectory field, Buncurrig. Starting at
11.30am sharp. Everyone welcome.
