Centre. This concert will show case the very best of local talent, along
with the main act Irish singer song writer Davie Furey and ELLY’D. . Davie
Furey has been nominated as best singer/songwriter by the Acoustic Yard
Radio Show for 2016 and Best Newcomer 2016 by Pure M Magazine and nominated
again for Best Male Artist 2017. This promises to be a fantastic night’s
entertainment not to be missed!

DEATH: The death occurred during the week of Frank Cantillon, Soheen,
Dysart, Corifin, Co.Clare and of Marian Park, Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry.
Beloved husband of Ethna, loving father of Sarah, Jamie, Emma and Abby.
Deeply regretted by his parents Eileen and Francie; brothers T. J. and
Keith; sister-in-law, Mother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family,
relatives and friends, work colleagues and neighbours. May he rest in
peace. Reposing at Dysart Church on Wednesday 1st November. Funeral Mass
on Thursday 2nd November. Burial afterwards in Dysart, Cemetery, Co. Clare.

Natalie will take a break for the mid-term and return on Tuesday the 7th

GAA UNDER-15s: The Ballyheigue U-15 hurlers defeated St. Brendan’s in the
Tom Healy Tournament on Friday evening. Final score: Ballyheigue 1-8, St.
Brendan’s 0-3. Panel: Daniel O’Loughlin, Jack Stack, Seamie O’Fuarain,
Rory Duggan, Colin Walsh, Nathan Guerin, Conor O’Sullivan, Tomas Gaynor,
Graham Slattery, Jordaan Goggin, Jimmy O’Halloran, David O’Mahony, Aidan
Reidy, Luke McCrohan. Ballyheigue will play Ballyduff in the semi-final
this Friday evening 7.00pm at Abbeydorney. The final will also be played
on Friday evening.

UNDER-21: The Ballyheigue/Abbeydorney U-21 hurlers were most unlucky to
lose to Crotta O’Neill’s in the semi-final of the Co. Championship on
Saturday evening at Abbeydorney. The full time score, after extra time,
was Ballyheigue/Abbeydorney 0-14 Crotta O’Neills 1-15.

2017 was an excellent year for Kerry Camogie with success at U14, U15 &
Minor with All Ireland Titles. Our senior team won the Munster Junior
Championship and reached the semi-final of the Liberty Insurance League &
Championship and will be aiming to go one better in 2018. There is a lot of
expense associated with this number of teams representing Kerry proudly in
Camogie and we hope that funds raised in this draw will help offset some of
the costs in 2018. We appreciate your continued support of Kerry Camogie
both on and off the field.
