GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
2-8-25-29. The Jackpot of €7,800 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be
€7,850. The to €50 winners were: Michael O’Halloran, Dromgower and
Padraig Casey, Ballylongane. The €25 winner was Joe Dunne, Cliff Road,
Ballyheigue.

KERRY HURLERS: Well done to the Kerry senior hurlers who defeated Kildare
at Newbridge on Sunday in the N.H.L. Final score Kerry 1.23 and Kildare
0.10. Philip Lucid was a member of the Kerry panel. The Kerry hurlers
will play Meath next Sunday at Austin Stack’s Park at 12.30pm.

MEMBERSHIP: The Senior players’ membership fee is €50. All players must
have their membership paid before they play their first game.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Tuesday 13th February
in the Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 2-18-21-29. Jackpot was
not won. The €50 winner was Tom O’Brien, C/o MO’H. The 25 winners were
Margaret Roche, C/o White Sands; and John O’Hara, C/o Christina and
Kathleen Hussey, Co MO’H. Next week’s Jackpot €8,600.

FIRST COMMUNION MEETING: There will be a pre-Sacramental meeting with
parents of the first Communion class children in the Community Centre on
Tuesday 20th February at 7.30pm. The presenter will be Sr. Aileen Murphy
from the Diocesan team.

THRESHER FESTIVAL: The members of the Thresher Festival Group with hold
their AGM in the White Sands Hotel on Thursday 22 February at 9.30pm, sharp.

The Group wishes to thanks everyone for making their activities so
successful during the past year.

A full programme will be put together in the coming weeks to enhance our
traditions for the good of our community. Your suggestions on developing
the Festival are most welcome and can be relayed to executive officers of
the Group or by attending the AGM.

BADMINTON – Well done to Kevin O’Mahony and Paula O’Sullivan who were on
the Kerry Grade “ G” team that took home the silver medal in the Munster
inter county Championships recently.

Also to Frankie Flaherty and Padraic Murray [Causeway Club] who got to the
Div 5 men’s Doubles final in the County Championships in Killarney. Other
members got to Plate Finals include Kyle Reidy Div 5, Kathleen Gilbride Div
3 Ladies and Tim Griffin Div 3 Men’s.

Play continues every Monday and Thursday night from 8.30 pm.
