Poem “Rustling Leaves”

Rustling leaves

Red, brown, gold

Nature’s carpet

Spread to behold

Sleepy hedgehog

Clammy toad

Just too slow

To cross a road

Winding Down

Ready to rest

Now the Year

Has passed her best

Longer nights

Shorter days

Make us all

Change our ways

A time to pause

In our haste

As we reflect

Our lives are graced.
